LEAC is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization formed to support Local, Regional, and National Law Enforcement Organizations. LEAC performs a unique service of networking among law enforcement organizations nationally to facilitate research and procurement of resources otherwise not available through routine public budget processes. As an example, LEAC was recently able to facilitate procurement of the first K-9 dog for the Village of Key Biscayne, Florida Police Department from a private company in Connecticut that provides pre-trained K-9 dogs for police departments and private security companies. LEAC conducts annual fundraising events as a sponsoring organization in Baltimore County, Maryland for both the National Law Enforcement Officers’ Memorial and the Baltimore County Police Memorial. LEAC specifically focuses on networking capabilities which concentrate on special needs of law enforcement organizations and the private sector. Future programs are projected to include a capability of directing businesses to law enforcement professionals that can meet public safety needs for individual companies.
